What’s something most people don’t understand?

Not a lot of people understand God. But then again, can anyone fully, completely understand God? He’s infinite, as we are finite. He’s perfect, as we are sinful. He’s holy and pure, as we are dirty and unrighteous. He’s outside of time, as we are limited to time. He gives free will, but knows the future and what we will do and choose.

When a beloved family member or friend dies, one might say, “How could You do this, God?! I thought You loved us! This doesn’t seem loving to me!” Well, death is a result of the curse, when Adam and Eve sinned. Adam was our representative, so when he sinned, sin and death passed to us all.

Or take another scenario: Someone gets hurt or sick and they say, “Well, thanks, God. I thought You cared for me.” Well, He does care. Bur He allows us to go through trials to test our faith (if we’re believers) or bring us to Him (if we’re not believers).

We cannot understand everything about God, but we can trust Him. He is our Father. He is real, and alive, and living, and He loves us.

And tell me, if God is not real, then why are even here on this earth?
