Copper

What’s the best thing I’ve ever found randomly on the street?

A chunk of copper.

No, really. When I was very young, probably around seven or eight, I was walking around our neighborhood and picked up a bronze-colored chunk of something shiny lying on the ground. I didn’t know what it was, but my dad later told me it was copper. Quite a find, I thought.

I’m not certain where the copper is today, but my dad told me he thinks we still have it. Now we just have to find it. πŸ™‚

The Birth of Christ

If I could go back and witness any historical event, which one would I pick?

Definitely the birth of Christ. I would have loved to see Mary’s face when the angel appeared to her. I would have wanted to dance with the angels in the fields where the shepherds cowered in fear. I would have wanted to witness the wise men giving the frankincense, gold, and myrrh.

It was the most amazing night ever.

And I would want to be part of it by going back and visiting that event.

Run Your Race

If my future self could send me one sentence, what do I hope it would say?

“Be careful how you run your race.”

We all run a race in life, and we must be careful how we run it. The beginning of the race may start out strong, the middle may be good. . .but it’s how we finish that really matters in the end.

So that’s what I hope my future self would tell me.

And I hope my future self will follow her own advice.

Discipline

What’s a thing I wish schools actually taught?

This is more of a “show” actually, than a “teach,” but. . .

My answer would be discipline.

Too many schools today don’t bother with properly teaching children. As a result, suspensions, expelling for many students, drugs, drinking, and smoking result. Additionally, rebelling against their parents, getting involved in immoral behavior, and even shootings and weapons being brought into the schools are also a major part of a lack of discipline.

If we want to raise godly children. . .discipline is a must.

Both in schools. . .

And at home.

Staying Healthy

What’s something I used to worry about but don’t anymore?

Staying healthy . . . . ugh.

Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not unsanitary and I don’t deliberately try to do anything gross (like not washing my hands after using the bathroom.)

But ugh. . .I used to be so OCD about getting sick! It was so bothersome and because of it I never was able to have much fun. It drove me and my siblings crazy. I would wash my hands about fifteen times a day and they would get cracked and dry. It was so ridiculous.

Nowadays, I don’t worry much anymore about getting sick. I still try to maintain health, of course. . .just not to the extreme I once did.

And I’m not the only one who’s done that, I know.

My Biggest Dream. . .

What’s my biggest dream?

To be an author, of course. That’s my main passion. I’ve been writing since I was a kid, and The Adventures of Starmonia is my main storyline as of the moment. I would also one day love to animate my series, but I am not an animator. I do not want to go to college, so that’s out. But perhaps, I tell myself, I can be a scriptwriter for cartoons. Then there’s being an illustrator for books. And then there’s making handmade jewelry and other knickknacks to maybe sell. . .

In short, I have a lot of dreams, but my main one is to be an author.

What’s your biggest dream?
