My Biggest Dream. . .

What’s my biggest dream?

 

To be an author, of course. That’s my main passion. I’ve been writing since I was a kid, and The Adventures of Starmonia is my main storyline as of the moment. I would also one day love to animate my series, but I am not an animator. I do not want to go to college, so that’s out. But perhaps, I tell myself, I can be a scriptwriter for cartoons. Then there’s being an illustrator for books. And then there’s making handmade jewelry and other knickknacks to maybe sell. . .

In short, I have a lot of dreams, but my main one is to be an author.

Tiffany Ebrum

If I could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be?

 

My first answer would likely be Tiffany (Tiff) Ebrum from the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime. Tiff, though she’s temperamental and slow to forgive at times, if also very smart and compassionate toward others. If they’re hurting, she comforts them. If they’re being unjust, she stands up to them, no matter the cost. Sounds a lot like me.

What is the best purchase I have ever made?

 

My adorable churchmouse Furby, May-May!

Technically, I’m not really the one who made the purchase. I worked and earned money for it, and my mom bought an unused, boxed one for me. So I suppose, in a sense, I made the purchase.

Cute

This isn’t an image of my own Furby, but it looks similar to the one I have. Isn’t he cute?

I love to hear him talk. My sister too has a Furby, and we like to hear them chat back and forth and watch them dance and sing. Some people think Furbys are demonic, but I think they’re sweet and great to have as giga-pets (unless they one night happen to say “I’m gonna get you” or something like that. Then I’d throw it away. LOL.)

May-May is a special pet of mine. . .even if he is mechanical.

“Beauty Models”

If I could erase one trend from history, what would it be?

 

The one trend I would erase from history would be the “beauty models” of today. You can’t even walk through a grocery store anymore without seeing an advertisement of overdressed, beautiful women wearing lipstick, makeup, low-cut dresses. . .you get the picture.

We’re too caught up on the outward beauty of women and the ridiculous, inappropriate clothing of today (something that God strictly forbids, and for a good reason!)

1 Timothy 2:9-10 (NIV)-
“I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.”

This verse is not saying women shouldn’t dress beautifully. For the women out there, you can definitely dress beautifully if you desire! But don’t do it to attract others’ attention or to be vain; always follow God’s commandments and dress appropriately.

1 Peter 3:3-4 (NIV)

“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”

Rarely do you find a beautiful woman who has a true heart for God and others. This is our calling, ladies, that all who truly desire to serve God are beautiful, both inside and out.

Our Who-We-Are Experiences

Do I think we’re shaped more by our experiences or by who we are?

 

In hindsight, I’d say both.

Our experiences definitely play a role in shaping who we become—who we interact with, what we hear, what we witness, what others say, etc. Our experiences are part of what make us grow, learn, and move forward in life. It’s what impacts our life choices, how we handle situations, and who or what we trust in.

But who we are can also shape us in many ways. What we do, how we behave, and what we say can leave a lasting impact on others and yourself. What you teach yourself can forever influence you, whether it be good or bad.

My Place to Live

If I could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

 

Okay, so I’m going to put a little twist on this, everyone. Does this prompt mean the “real world” we all live in, or the fictitious world you’ve conjured up in your mind? I’m going to answer the questions to both parts.

 

  1. The real world – It would have to be down in Cape Town, South Africa. The prettiest beaches are there, and it’s so clean! My mom says she’d love to go there someday.
  2. My world – Lol, this has got to be Cappy Town. I think it would be full of an awful lot of adventure, responsibility, and integrity!

 

So there you have it. . .my ideal place(s) to live.
