Behold the cross!

 

The tree upon which Jesus bled

And displayed His amazing grace

Should’ve been me, but He instead

Chose to take my place.

 

What love is this, that won’t back away

Nor shows apathy or fear?

It’s agape love; God has the final say

Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is here!

 

Behold the empty tomb!

 

He was settled in that rock

And given the best burial care

Three days later. . .what a shock!

His ultimate resting place lay bare!

He hath proved Himself to me

And truly He is the Christ!
