What’s a mystery from my own life that I’ve never solved?
Myself.
I can’t explain why I think the way I do, why I act the way I do, why I feel the way I do, why I change the way I do. I can’t explain why certain songs seem to evoke mood swings in me or how thinking about certain subjects such as Kirby can uplift my spirits. I can’t explain why I occasionally behave so irrationally over the silliest things and say things I know are harming toward others, and I definitely can’t explain how I am so the clutter type and yet suddenly one day get into an obsessive cleaning mood!
Myself is indeed a mystery
That will likely never be solved
You are to you as I am to me
Forever this myst’ry will be unresolved.
You are not just a mystery to yourself. You are known fully by God, even when you donβt understand yourself. The shifting feelings, reactions, and moods donβt define you or confuse Him.
Scripture says we are βfearfully and wonderfully made.β That includes the parts we canβt explain yet.
So even when you feel like a mystery to yourself, you are still known, seen, and held by God with purpose.
