If my future self could send me one sentence, what do I hope it would say?
“Be careful how you run your race.”
We all run a race in life, and we must be careful how we run it. The beginning of the race may start out strong, the middle may be good. . .but it’s how we finish that really matters in the end.
So that’s what I hope my future self would tell me.
And I hope my future self will follow her own advice.
Most definitely. We must run with longsuffering the race set before us, as Hebrews tell us, and we must finish strong, keeping our faith to the very end.
